Hi,
I’m Alexandra. I am a writer and editor, sometimes photographer and painter. Professionally, I work in communications and art education. I’ve been a gallery guide at the Guggenheim Museum in New York for nearly four years; I worked as communications director and editorial associate at the publisher A Public Space. I’ve also written freelance for LitCharts (the fancy new Sparknotes), and was an archives assistant for Artifacts.movie.
I grew up in Belmont, Massachusetts, and spent most of my early adult life in Providence, Rhode Island. There, I earned my graduate degree in English literature, worked as a bartender and a bookseller, and learned to speak and read French.
