Hi,
I’m Alexandra. I’m a writer and editor, sometimes photographer and painter.
Professionally, I work in arts education and communications. For the last four years, I’ve been a gallery guide at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. Before that, I worked in editorial for nonprofit presses, most recently at A Public Space. I’ve written for LitCharts (the fancy SparkNotes 2.0) and was an archives assistant for the online cultural database Artifacts.
I spent my early adult life in Providence, Rhode Island, where I earned my graduate degree in English literature, worked as a bartender and a bookseller, and learned to speak and read French.
